Research Interests

My research work mainly focuses on the study of Climate Change signals and their possible links to large-scale circulations changes such as ENSO and NAO using state-of-the-art Global and Regional Climate Models. My current research emphasize on the radiative impacts of explosive volcanic eruptions over global Oceans with a particular focus on post eruption changes in temperature, precipitation, heat content and sea level rise. I am also looking at the Regional climatic response of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to large explosive eruptions.
